Attention, dear first-year students, after a week full of events, it's time for the final sport! Do you want to compete with your new fellow students not only in the seminar, but also on the pitch? Then pack your sneakers and bring your fighting spirit, because on Sunday, 12.10.2025 at 12:00 noon it's time for games, fun and semester pride!

The Freshers' Tournament is YOUR chance to get to know new fellow students across the university! Whether it's volleyball, dodgeball or table tennis - the fun of playing together is what counts here.

It doesn't matter whether you're a pro or hit the ball by chance - the main thing is that you're up for: - a bit of sport - a bit of competition - and lots of fun with the other first-year students

Remember your sports gear and indoor shoes as well as any energy you have left over from the week.

- Meeting point: University Sports Center - Please be there on time at 12:00 - we will start with the team division there!

Even if you don't have that much energy left to do sports at the end of the week, but are still interested in the sports program, you can of course just come by, enjoy a refreshing smoothie, find out about the wide range of sports on offer in Ilmenau and cheer on your fellow students.
