Attention, dear freshers, after an eventful week, it's now time for a final sporting event! Want to compete with your new fellow students not only in the classroom, but also on the playing field? Then pack your sneakers and sports gear and bring your fighting spirit, because on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at 12:00 p.m., it's time for games, fun, and community!

The freshman tournament is YOUR chance to meet new fellow students from across the university!
Whether it's volleyball, dodgeball, or table tennis, what counts here is having fun together.

It doesn't matter if you're a pro or just hit the ball by accident, the main thing is that you're up for:

•  a little sport
•  a little competition
•  and lots of fun with the other freshers

Remember to bring your sports gear and indoor shoes, as well as all the energy you have left over from the week.

•  Please be there on time at 12:00 p.m. – we'll start with team assignments!

But don't worry, even if you don't have much energy left for sports at the end of the week but are still interested in the sports program, you can of course just drop by, enjoy a refreshing smoothie, find out about the wide range of sports on offer in Ilmenau, and cheer on your fellow students.
